Gestalt Therapy is an approach to psychology that emphasises the awareness and understanding of your feelings.
It maintains that you could not analyse just part of a person’s consciousness; in addition, you had to take into consideration their entire body of sensory experiences – thoughts, feeling, emotions and sensuality.
Gestalt psychologists were responsible for changing the way we view perception but owning to the vagueness of the therapy’s principles, it is not practiced much today.
