What is Holistic Living? This is just one possible answer

Holistic living is all about the joining of the body, mind and spirit, therefore the greatest barrier to holistic living is the self.  It’s all about being human and this is a vast concept. Holistic living is the art of engaging in each field in a balanced and integrated way and promoting positive general health and well-being within your body. Being holistic does have its spiritual component, but that's just one of the many parts.

 

One of the principles of holistic living is that what we see around us reflects our own inner state of mind. Our concept of holistic living is a vibrant interactive lifestyle, mindful of one's environment while seeking development and growth. The most important principle of is that mind, body and spirit are inextricably part of the same whole.

 

Holistic living is simply living your life with all aspects of it in mind, not just in reference to one part or a few of them and is a more enduring route to community living than are more restrictive ways of being. By taking an integrated approach towards the harmonious development of one's life - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually with regular physical exercise, fulsome sleep, a healthy diet, positive thinking and self-esteem.

 

Holistic Health and Holistic Living are (and should be) our natural state of being, but sometimes we lose our way. It supports the well being of the entire person; mind, body, and spirit and often health conditions that are unresponsive to conventional treatment. For many of us, as we get older our health will decline, natural healing and alternative medicine can help many health problems.

 

Holistic therapies can provide a range of modalities and services to support the whole person. The medical industry, though, isn't the only profession catching on to the world of holistic living as many companies are now seeing the benefits that can be found using natural, organic products. I believe in encouraging understanding of holistic living, how to discover and maintain a natural homeostatic balance of mind, body and spirit.

 

Our concept of holistic living is a vibrant interactive lifestyle, mindful of one's environment while seeking development and growth. It should not be a passing phase; it is an attitude we must cultivate. One of the principles of holistic living is that what we see around us reflects our own inner state of mind and is essentially all about promoting positive general health and well-being within your mind, body and spirit.
